The Fun up at BYUI

I moved in to my apartment, with 5 other girls. This is our kitchen! It is much more spacious than some of the other apartments :)
This is our bathroom! Only 2 sinks and mirrors.... on sunday morning's it's a little rough... as you can imagine. 6 girls all getting ready, fighting for mirror space. But we grow closer... haha
This is my bed. I made my quilt cover! :) it has little taxi's on it.
This is Alyssa and my closet. 2 girls, one closet. A little tight but we manage.
Bridger came to live here, and Nathan his cousin came to stay for a few weeks. We had a surprise birthday party for him!! :) Sam picked out what it said on his cake "Happy Birthday SugarLips" :)

I got my October package from my mom. It contained candy :), my favorite movie of all time "Hocus Pocus", little decorations, socks, a flashlight, etc :) LOVE YOU MOM!!!

I met Bridger in September!! We started dating. Our favorite thing to do is to go to the dunes, and ride his quad. :) The dunes are my FAVORITE place ever.

This is the basic info. I figure I need to do better about staying up on my blogging as more and more exciting things are happening in my life :) More to come!!! :)

When the Family all got together

Here is when all the siblings and their children came for the Deters-Macdonald-Carson reunion! All the children suprised our parents with some family reunion t-shirts! They were so shocked and happy! We took this picture in the hospital.

Parent Update

Hey guys!

Just an update on my parents and how they are doing. For any of you that don't know, they were in a really bad bicycling accident about a month ago. They got hit by a delivery truck on an access road on an early bike ride on their tandom one morning. My dad got back from the hospital monday of this week and my mom got home about a week before him. We had a miniature family reunion with all our siblings the week after the accident. It was sooo much fun to have the whole family together and all the kids had so much fun playing together! Melinda and her kids stayed a week and a half after that to help out with my mom being home and getting my dad everything he needed while he was staying in the hospital. She left tuesday of last week and Angela flew in on wednesday. It has been soo much fun hanging out with all my siblings and a major big help to Andrea and I. Andrea and I have been through a lot this past month with the whole experience and it's great to know our siblings are always there to back us up and help us out!

My mom's 9 broken ribs and vertabrae that broke are healing wonderfully and the doctor said that she is about a week ahead of schedule. She is in better spirits and is going on walks 2 times a day, which the doctor says is AMAZING! She is so strong!! My dad is still in a wheelchair and will be for at least another 5 weeks, if not more. He is getting around pretty good though :). With one good leg to steer himself and one good arm to roll the wheelchair he goes on walks with us sometimes, and needs minimal help up hills and hard places. But the doctor says that he is healing up perfectly! And they have no concerns. Hopefully with all the pins and plates they put in his body he won't have problems going through security at the airport, haha. Since the beginning of this, and throughout the whole thing he continues to crack jokes about everything! He's the best.

The shower is almost done!!! Because of my dad's injuries he can't go up or downstairs! Yikes. So the middle floor is his home for the next little while. Because of this we had to add a shower onto the bathroom on that floor. The guy that is helping us says it should be ready for use by monday! It'll feel good to have that bathroom done, and ready for use.

I couldn't be more thankful for everyone who has helped us out soo much through all this!

Prom 2008

I went to Standley's Prom with my friend Clint! and it was one of the funnest nights of my life! My mom made my dress and I felt like a complete princess!! He asked me with sidewalk chalk and i said yes! haha of course!
